Kathryn and Natan tied the knot during a perfect spring day on April 28 in a beautiful backyard wedding. The wedding was held at the bride’s grandparent’s house in Charlotte, the very same place where the bride’s parents were married. Not only was the location special to the family, but the couple also incorporated several other family pieces into their wedding day.
The interfaith ceremony took place in a grassy spot underneath a chuppah, draped with a family blanket of the bride’s. The couple sipped wine out of the groom’s grandparents Kiddush cup and followed in tradition of the glass breaking at the end of the ceremony.
Guests migrated into cocktail hour, where they sipped their cocktails underneath market light lined trees. As the sun set, the party began and the chandelier adorned tent lit up the night for the reception. The wedding was inspired by Kathryn’s love of the color blue (thanks to the Panthers!)and her family’s collection of blue patterned china. Tables were decorated with the family’s china, along with gorgeous centerpieces with a fun pop of orange!
After the cake was cut and the Panther’s themed groom’s cake was shared, the dance floor kicked off with the Hora and didn’t slow down from there! It was a perfect night for a perfect couple – congratulations again Kathryn and Natan!
Thanks to all the Charlotte vendors!
